Ottawa Will Represent at Followlogie

This week-end, our Resident DJ Claudia Petrilli a.k.a. Summer Solstice Girl and our Artistic Director, Natalia Rueda, are gracing Montreal dancers with their presence and skills; both will be taking part in Followlogie. The Dynamite Girls, coached by Natalia, will be making this trip to represent Swing Dynamite’s follows. This is sure to make the guys feel a little hot under the collar because our gals sure know how to swivel! Good luck to all the Ottawa dancers heading over there to learn, compete and party.

Saturday Night Swing & Petit Chicago Swing
Guys, there will still be a very exciting Saturday Night Swing with Weekly Westie, so don’t slack off because some of our Ottawa gals our out of town. Jean-François Harbour will be DJing in the vintage lounge, so show him the love!

CSC 2010 Results

Swing Dynamite – and therefore Ottawa – had another great year at the Canadian Swing Championships in 2010.
This year everyone from Ottawa who placed was connected with Swing Dynamite in some way–as a teacher, coach, team member (current or past) or student, which makes us especially proud both for representing Ottawa so well once again, and for the success we’ve had in training dancers. Many of the dancers below were competing for their very first time, and ended up making finals or even placing at Canada’s biggest swing competition!
