[ No Comments ] Posted by on May 03, 2011 in News, Ottawa Dance Events

It’s not strictly speaking a swing dance, but this swanky event might interest swing dancers who want to dress up and enjoy a live band: This Friday, May 6 in the Trillium Ballroom of the Ottawa Convention centre, the Tulip Ball will feature the Preville Big Band. The Tulip Ball is the opening event of the 2011 Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa.

Tickets are available online. According to the Preville Big Band, they’ll be playing Viennese Waltzes, and a selection of swing and rock’n-roll hits as well as songs ranging from Santana to La Compagnie Créole.

Please note: This is provided for information only. Swing Dynamite is not involved in organizing or performing at this event.
