Ottawa Will Represent at Followlogie

This week-end, our Resident DJ Claudia Petrilli a.k.a. Summer Solstice Girl and our Artistic Director, Natalia Rueda, are gracing Montreal dancers with their presence and skills; both will be taking part in Followlogie. The Dynamite Girls, coached by Natalia, will be making this trip to represent Swing Dynamite’s follows. This is sure to make the guys feel a little hot under the collar because our gals sure know how to swivel! Good luck to all the Ottawa dancers heading over there to learn, compete and party.
Have fun, ladies, this is a time to enjoy the fabulousness of being a follow!
Saturday Night Swing & Petit Chicago Swing
Guys, there will still be a very exciting Saturday Night Swing with Weekly Westie, so don’t slack off because some of our Ottawa gals our out of town. Jean-François Harbour will be DJing in the vintage lounge, so show him the love!

Ten Reasons to attend Swinging Movember

3. There’s live music! no matter how good a DJ is, nothing compares to dancing to live music. Trust me on this one, I’m a DJ, I know what I’m talking about 
4. Baby it’s cold outside. Come warm up by dancing up a storm
5. There’s two rooms: you can go from groovy to vintage and back just by crossing a door frame. It’s like Narnia but for swing! feeling like dusting your inner Travolta or your Benji Schwimmer? bust a move in the Westie Lounge. Wanna practice your East Coast Swing, Lindy, Balboa, Charleston, Collegiate Shag or Blues? Souper Jazz will be more than happy to help you with that.

From Petit Chicago to Broadway
